MosaicMint Privacy Policy
MosaicMint helps Shopify merchants configure custom mosaic products, save buyer-created designs, and prepare production files. This policy explains the data used by the app.
Data we process
- Shop identity, installation status, and the Shopify access credentials required to operate the app.
- Merchant product configuration, palettes, pricing rules, frame settings, and production resources.
- Buyer-uploaded images, edited mosaic matrices, generated previews, and immutable configuration snapshots.
- Order identifiers, line-item identifiers, quantities, and app-owned line properties needed to connect an order to its saved design.
- Security and operational records needed to prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and process privacy requests.
MosaicMint does not intentionally store buyer names, postal addresses, phone numbers, payment card details, or Shopify account passwords. Uploaded images may nevertheless contain personal information chosen by the buyer.
How data is used
We use this data only to provide the customizer, validate prices and product variants, restore saved designs, generate production files, display order-linked design covers, secure the service, and comply with verified privacy requests.
Sharing and international processing
Data is processed by Shopify and by service providers used to host the MosaicMint application, database, and generated files. We do not sell personal information or use buyer uploads for advertising.
Retention and deletion
In the primary database, designs that are not linked to an order are deleted three calendar months after their last update. Order-linked designs are deleted one calendar year after their most recent order association. Verified customer-redaction requests can remove matching designs sooner. Merchant configuration remains while needed to provide the installed app. After uninstall, access credentials are revoked immediately; shop data is deleted when Shopify sends its verified shop-redaction request. Backup copies may persist for the hosting provider's backup lifecycle and are not restored for ordinary business use.
Security
MosaicMint uses HTTPS, Shopify authentication and signed webhooks, tenant-scoped access controls, bounded uploads, short-lived signed image URLs, and least-privilege Shopify access scopes. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Merchants can uninstall the app and can contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion where applicable. Buyers should normally contact the Shopify merchant that received their order. When Shopify forwards a customer data request, the merchant can download the corresponding export from the authenticated MosaicMint Privacy requests page and deliver it through its customer-support process.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by a new date on this page.
